James is Art Editor for Kerrang!, art directing covers, editorial and campaigns while contributing his own image-making. His work with The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula spans title design, art direction and campaign imagery.
Alongside commissioned work, James has spent over 15 years developing independent projects across fashion, music and culture.
Drawn to darker aesthetics, his practice moves between digital and physical processes, often incorporating older technologies. Texture, distortion and imperfection are central to his visual language.
